I really hate that they have made the decision to let him go. Even if he isn't the WR he once was I'm afraid Pittsburg will learn what is will lose as far as locker room leader. Taking those young WR's under his wing and such. those guys have come out and said they wanted him there.

Its kind of crappy to do a man that way after he has been such a leader for your team for so many years. Ward may not have the step he did 10 years ago but hes a game changer and always pulls double coverage which allows other men to get open. Pittsburg is loosing a leader, play maker, and mentor.
